Terri relocated from Minnnesota in 1978 and has served on the Church Council for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for over 7 years. Terri is also on Council for Via De Christo as Prayer Elder. She is also on the Board for Cottonwood Hills Condo Association. She has led bible studies for Koininia in the past, ( a womens fellowship group) for over 12 years and continues to lead a college womens bible study, a Couples Study and a Mother/Daughter bible study and her husband and her mentor engaged and newly married couples for marriage.
Terrilee has received many Awards throughout the years of her Real Estate service. Some include Top Producer, Many years of ReMax Executive Gold Awards, Spotlighted in Realtor Magazine Feb 2011 as "Good Realtor Award", articles in Investor Magazine and the Salt Lake Trib, as well as excellent Realtor Service awards.
Over the years our listings have sold in an average of 45 days. At any given time, we have 40%-50% of our current listing inventory "under contract" with a sale pending. We don't just list houses, we LIST them and we SELL them!

Terri's background: Terri has held Professional licenses as a Private Detective and an Insurance Adjustor for 8 years. She is also a Real Estate Investor who can train you in the processes of building your own portfolio. Terri moved to Utah from Minnesota in 1978 to ski and attend the University of Utah. Her hobbies include: skiing, scuba diving, traveling and working with teenagers.

She has completed in-depth training for commercial properties and residential homes. She has also taken courses in Taxation, fair housing, professional standards, loan fraud, investment analysis, legal aspects of Real Estate and business development among many others. She is also a member of the RCA ( Realtors Commercial Alliance) and the NAR (National Association of Realtors).
Community Service: Terrilee is currently on the Board of Directors for Cottonwood Hills condo community and she is also on the Board of Directors for HUGs for Tugs, where they are currently building orphanges in Uganda and Tanzania.

Terrilee Fitz EARNS PRESTIGIOUS DESIGNATION TO HELP HOMEOWNERS IN DANGER OF FORECLOSURE
Terrilee Fitz of Equity Solid has earned the prestigious Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) designation, having completed extensive training in foreclosure avoidance and short sales. This is invaluable expertise to offer at a time when the area is ravaged by “distressed” homes in the foreclosure process.
Short sales allow the cash-strapped seller to repay the mortgage at the price that the home sells for, even though it is lower than what is owed on the property. With plummeting property values, this can save many people from foreclosure and even bankruptcy. More and more lenders are willing to consider short sales because they are much less costly than foreclosures.
In the Salt Lake City area, more than 10,879 homes are in danger of foreclosing. It is happening in all price ranges. Local experts say that even high-priced homes are not immune.
“This CDPE designation has been invaluable as I work with sellers and lenders on complicated short sales,” said Terrilee. “It is so rewarding to be able to help sellers save their homes from foreclosure.”
Alex Charfen, founder of the Distressed Property Institute in Boca Raton, Fla., said that Realtors® such as Terrilee with the CDPE designation have valuable training in short sales that can offer the homeowner much better alternatives to foreclosure, which virtually destroys the credit rating. These experts also may better understand market conditions and can help sellers through the emotional experience, he said.
The Distressed Property Institute opened in January 2008 and provides training on-site and online. The CDPE is the premier designation for Realtors helping homeowners in distress and handling short sales.
