1. Mortgage Interest rates are at an all time low (averaging around 4.75%) If the economy really picks up steam, rates could rise as high as 6.5% at the end of 2011.
a. What does that mean to you? Example: The home that you could afford at the 5.5% interest rate could be $174,000, however at a 6% interest rate; the amount you would now qualify for would be lowered to $159,000.
2. Why rent and pay someone else’s mortgage, get a low 30 year fixed interest rate, and tax deductions, by owning your own property!
